History
The birth of a movement.
For over a decade, real estate professionals accepted the emergence of online search sites operated by advertising companies. Many agents believed they had no choice but to spend their money on third-party portals, because nothing else felt like a real option.
In 2014, a group of industry visionaries set out to build something better. Brokerage firms representing 300,000 agents and MLSs with 350,000 subscribers came together to develop and manage a new consumer-facing experience. The collaboration was born, and brokerages and MLSs contributed funding to launch the Broker Public Portal.
Cribio is the next chapter of that movement, and a home search the industry can stand behind.

We work directly with local MLSs to power search and display for consumers, running on the same systems your agent, your broker, and the rest of the industry rely on. That means listings appear faster, status changes reflect reality, and the data you're searching is the same data closing deals right now.
On average, listings update every 2.5 minutes. That pending home that's been haunting you on other sites? It won't make it to Cribio.
